Hey here,

I got one project going on. I need to build studio or at least almost studio where to shoot car´s. I need to build 8 to 11 of these to different locations for one of my clients. Need to be real easy set-up cause we are shooting lot´s of cars in row and most of time there is no real photographer around. So all need to be easy to use!

- Here is my choices for light set-up

1. Studio flashes. Two or three 600 to 900wat flashes
2. Continues light from http://www.ianiro.com/blonde.asp (external link) or similar
3. Just regular "fluorescent lamp" or similar.

2 and 3 are on roof and light goes trough fabric or some material that soft´s light(acrylic).
1 is reflected using big umbrellas or big white acrylic above car

2 and 3 could be easier to set-up for people who dont know how to shoot.

- Here is my choices for place

1. two wall´s covered with white acrylic, maybe curved on bottom to fade floor and wall. Two wall´s covered with white fabric. those wall´s can be removed. just pull fabric´s to wall.

2. All wall´s just white fabric

Have anyone build something like this before?
I really appreciate all help...

(Sorry for bad english, hard to explain some of these things... And if this is on wrong sub-forum, please move it to correct one)

Thanks
-Pasi

Well, good luck with that? Cars are one of the most difficult things to photograph if you want them to look their best. If that's not a big factor, then read on.

Unless the client is uncommonly rich, the simplest (but not the best) choice would be to paint the walls white & bounce the light off the walls. See the links to the two studios in A few Car Lighting Tips - Updated

Two wall´s covered with white fabric. those wall´s can be removed.

"Wall´s can be removed"? If you mean rolling flats, that's the best choice. You'll need at least two of them. In that case, I'd paint the walls black. This gives you more options for dramatic light on dark colored cars. For metallic paint, you can get away with almost anything in the way of studio color.

2 and 3 are on roof and light goes trough fabric or some material that soft´s light(acrylic).

Don't light through it. Bounce off it. Or use a thin, white plastic instead of fabric.

Yeah, I know how hard it is to take good car photos... but we´r not looking high-class studio photos. Just photos that looks decent or littlebit above regular photos what they use for selling used cars on internet. I can tell you dont need to do much to get better looking photos. Now they just use point-and-shoot cameras without almost any light specific for that thing.

I mean two walls and two fabric curtains that you can push away. (something like this, http://www.home-decor-hub.com …r-curtain-liner-white.jpg (external link) ) Need to be open from two sides since it´s part of big hall where they sell cars.

I´ll take a closer look of that link you provided.

Thanks
