Old EF lenses

I am looking into buying a Digital Rebel and wonder if the EF lenses that I have used with my old Rebel X for about the last 20 years would be compatible with the new camera.
I have a 35-80 1:4-5.6 zoom and a 75-300 1:4-5.6 zoom. Both lenses are still in excellent working order.
I appreciate any information anyone can provide.

Thanks,
Jack

If they are "EF" they will work!

Once you start looking at the images on screen,. you may want to upgrade that 75-300mm .. but that's another story ;)

It will work fine :)

this is the reason i purchased a canon digital slr. i used my old lenses with my new camera. however, in the two years since i purchased the 10d, i replaced my lenses with 28-135 USM IS and the 70-300 DO IS. canon has me hooked. i will trade up my 10d with whatever comes after the 20d. however, i do think canon make a superior product. my friend would like to get a canon but he has a lot invested in nikon lenses. these manufacturers are smart.
