I'm going to use my 50D for most of my off-camera shots, but I want to experiment with a camera that allows for faster sync speeds.

Currently I'm looking for a Canon G9, but am wondering if there are some other models around the same price. Must-haves are: 1) RAW, 2) High flash sync speeds (1/2000+) and 3) Hot shoe on the camera.

For reference, my off-camera lighting equipment consists of a 430EX, a SB-24, a Sunpak 383 and CTR-301P triggers.

Any recommendations?

Thanks!

G11? Nikon D70 (guessing)?

If I'm going to go with the G series, I'd stick with a G9 or G10 just to save some scratch. The Nikon D70 would work, but I'd need to buy lenses, so that'll get too expensive.

Thanks for the suggestions, though!
