Great series. My preference would be photo's #2 and #4. How was the weather in Ecuador?

Thanks, Ecuador itself was pretty warm and sticky, but out in the Galapagos it was dry and cool- temp from upper 60's to mid 70's. Went in early September which worked out well, cloud cover for nice lighting but no rain.

You are going to have a very hard decision choosing between 2, 3 and 4, as they seem to be everyone's favourites.

Well, actually I can submit a few so this is very helpful. I always liked 1 better than 2 in some ways due to the open eyes, water reflections and greater dof, but the expression of 2 seems to be much stronger than all those little details of 1. Same reaction with friends I have shown them to so #2 is definitely going in instead of #1.
I always liked the colors of #4, but thought the dof might be too shallow, but I think again that this one is going in as is... dark lava and bright colors seem to be working for everyone.
#3 hit me when I first saw it as capturing the magic of that sunset and the calmness of the sealion resting his head on the rock, but I wondered if it was a strong enough composition. Looks like many are responding to it as is so will send it in as well.
#7 is still going in, I always liked the colors and expression and my wife would kill me if I didn't submit it!

Thanks for all the help from everyone, was starting to go bonkers trying to decide and probably over thinking it. Appreciate all the great feedback.

I like #3. The constrast in color between the crab and the background makes the picture.

They are all wonderful, but I love the seal sleeping on his rock pillow.

The crab grabbed my attention the best out of the bunch.

Thanks, yeah I like the booby too (below), but thought it looked a little posed? Hard to believe I was bouncing along in a zodiac in rough seas when I shot this! It is really hard to narrow down, I took 8500 shots! Good problem to have though!

Hehe Booby. :o

1, 4, and 5 for me. The contrast in #5 and the color in #4 are amazing.

They're all good, but those are my top three.
