Hello all , I recently bought a 1d classic .
I havent really used it that much so far , but really want to shoot in RAW format , but I am having problems .
Firstly the computer I am trying to connect up to is running Vista . I know that Canon do not make drivers for vista and the 1dmk1.
Please correct me if im wrong , but I set the 1d to shoot RAW and Large JPEG for example . On the small window on the back will also say RAW . I then shoot away and when I come to upload the photos , (via a card reader) it only shows JPEGS . I tried putting the CF card into my 30D and connecting it to Canon utility for example and it still only reads JPEGS .

Please please please can somebody help me . I know alot of people on here have mk1s so can somebody help me out .

cheers Jamie

When a 1D classic is set to RAW + JPG it creates two files: IMGxxx.JPG and IMGxxx.TIF where xxx is the file number. Open the card whilst it is in the cardreader in windows explorer and you shousld see a folder entitled something like 100EOS1D, open it and you should see those files I mentioned above.
