Well, OK, it is a carved "wooden" mallard duck and not a wood duck, but I needed a duck shot to properly introduce my new 7D that arrived late this evening -- too late to shoot a real duck. Please forgive my transgression this one time. The image was shot at ISO 6400, f/2.8, and 1/100 second shutter speed. The built-in flash was used, the lens is the 24-70 f/2.8 @ 70 mm FL, and the size of the carved duck is about 4.25 inches from bottom of base to top of head. I converted the RAW image to a DNG before processing in CS3. Adobe has not yet released an update that supports the 7D, but using generic processing worked fairly well. The noise was pretty strong so I used a good amount of noise reduction in Neat Image and then reduced the image size to 25% of original and then cropped a 640 X480 area. Finally, I used a tiny bit of color channel sharpening before saving. Right now, I am still flying by the seat of my pants and feel like I need to "dumb down" the camera a bit until I am more up to speed with all of its complex features.
