I just got back from a trip and I used it when my 20D wasn't appropriate. The 20D had a 70-200mm lens, so I typically used the SD400 when I needed something less than 70 mm, or I didn't have my 20D around, like on a plane or when eating and wanting to take photos of my food. I am very impressed with the SD400 and the photos it takes are pretty amazing. -- Jim
