Here's a few pics of my friend's young dog(s) - I would appreciate feedback!
Taken with 350D + 17-85 EF-S (portriat mode)

I was really pleased with the sharpness of this one!

The second and thrid shots are outstanding, the third being the best. The addition of the other dog in the background and the scenery is fantastic.

hey - thanks a lot! I remember when I took it, I hoped it would come out well - I was really close to them (@17mm) with my friend 'dsitracting' them with a stick!

The pups are gorgeous indeed. I like the third shot best. I also like the results you are getting with that lens.

Bless the recently fallen and their family and friends.
I have a Cannon with me at all times. You can't take the shot if you don't have something with which to shoot.

These are lovely shots. The third most definitely is the best.
The composition is terrific, and it is very balanced. The road leads you deep into the pic.
In the third shot you have captured some definition of the eye, which I think is most important in pet portraits.
You might be able to tweak a little more highlight in the eyes in PS.
Really nice work! :D
