It will give an upgraded feel to the camera. Sometimes its the small things that make a big difference. And for only $100...i know ide rather have the nicer feeling body. I thought the 50d and the x1i were more or less had the same image performance, and that the difference was exta features that that aren't directly relatd to how the picture looks. digital: 7d 70-200L 2.8 IS MKII, 17-55 2.8 IS
