I was out shooting birds today by the water hole, and along comes a fox, then another. The first walked right by me in the sunlight, but I couldn't turn in my chair to get the shot. The 2nd one saw me and stood in the shade for a moment. The settings were set for birds in the sunlight, so I had to lighten this one some. Not a great shot, but cool to catch a sly fox in the woods.:D

Nice shot Steve. Once again I'm envious....you guys over there have so much variety. No chance of me seeing a fox when I'm out bird shooting !!

Nice 'fox' (Oops, I mean, 'fix') on the exposure too.

Matt.

What good fortune, Steve, and a good shot. I've never seen a gray, beautiful animal.

Very nice shot of a very reclusive critter. They generally don,t pose for you much like that looks like he might have spotted you?

Just an "ole dog" trying to learn "new tricks"! helpful advice is always welcome!!

Thanks Matt....I've seen them 3 times in this area. One time the fox layed down behind me about 70 feet away and just watched the bird action on the water hole.

Thanks stan, I see them at night when driving the bus, and sometimes in the day. Still waiting for one to drink from the water right in front of me!:D

Thanks, it didn't stand there long, then took off down the slope.

Thanks, already did that. The woods were lit up and the fox was in shade. Not the best pp, but great looking animal. I will see them again!

That' awesome, Steve! I wasn't aware that we had Grey Fox out here in the west. Good to know they're around. Are they as common as Red Fox in your area?

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".
