Hey, Brooke. Tylenol PM is your friend. I defy you to stay awake after taking a couple of those.

Tylenol PM does nothing for me. Nor does Nyquil. Codeine actually makes me more awake. I have very odd body biochemistry at times.

Morning everyone. It's supposed to be a glorious day here - which means time to take down the Christmas decorations out side. Yes, I know - but I am not freezing my hands on in the dead of winter to remove them (at least they haven't been lit since after Christmas. I have some neighbors who have been running them continuously since).

Good morning everyone! Hope everyone is doing good.

Things have been quite busy for me but it seems to be slowing down now. This time of year always seems to be slow in photo business for me:(

Good to see you back, Kathy! Things are going well here (now that everyone is no longer ill).

I hope things pick up for you (and me) soon!

Yikes, I didn't know you were all ill! Nothing really serious I hope. We had a really good winter, not much sickness here, the usual colds but nothing more in our household anyway. We had quite a few cases of swine flu in our school, but luckily I didn't bring any of it home with me. Now we're in good ole alergy time so everyone is numb headed, but I can deal with that!

Things have to pick up, they can't get much slower! This happens every year for me, I run out of seniors, families and weddings and just keep offering little "bargains" to keep things moving. I'm pretty bargained out now though. I still have spring sports to do but even those are less than years past because of our poor economy. Oh well, something will happen, it always seems like I have nothing to do one day then the next day I am swamped with work. I'll keep my fingers crossed. If nothing else I can just keep taking photos of my cats to keep in practice!:)

Have a great day, I'm off to work.

Sounds like a night! I went to a meeting about food storage. Very interesting. I decided wheat products are not awful, just not very tasty. Not super exciting but informative.

My sons are sick today, so I will be taking care of them a little this morning. Both are on the couch watching my new 1st Season Scarecrow & Mrs. King DVD's. I have a thing for Bruce Boxleitner. :)

That's right, it's March.

Katherine had strep and Kim and I had some other sort of viral crud that has been going around.

At least it's warm-ish enough for me to open the house up a little to do an air exchange. Time to start cleaning though. After a week of sickness, it's a mess in the house.

Hey, Chris & Jon! I'm back home from lunch. Son is on the couch asleep. The orthodontist didn't like seeing his teeth unmoved. More rubber bands. Poor kid.

I went to Chinatown on Tuesday and it was sad. It's about 2 blocks now, that's it. But we went to the same restaurant we took Mo to last year and had the salmon. It was yummy. If I had thought about it, Jon, I would have called you in the morning. We're headed that way again before April. But let's plan on doing something fun when we do the CBF shoot.

Just came back in from starting spring cleaning outside. Took down the remaining Christmas lights on the house (sorry, I wasn't about to take them down in either snow or sub 20 degree weather) and found that my daffodils are starting to push through the ground. Woot. If my work last fall pans out, I'll have ~300 daffodils, tulips and lilies around the house this spring.

And it is picking up for me after a slow winter:) we must be polarizing on opposite ends.

Now I would be taking a lot of pictures of that. I remember Kathy's sunflower garden:)

I loved that TV series....and Bruce, too. Isn't he married to Melissa Gilbert?

Yep. He is. Also wrote a really bad horror/SF novel. You got the Babylon 5 DVDs, then?

Even if half of what I planted comes up, it's going to make for a metric ton of flowers in the yard to photograph. That, and making a bouquet to give Katherine to play with (and photograph) will be loads of fun.

That would be great...Kate in the flowers. I have fressias and zinnias (3 kinds) all springing up in my garden..the zins re-seed themselves and the freesias are bulbs. Coreopsis and African daisies are already blooming and will do so until November.
