It's beautiful today, 65. Tomorrow 72. I can't wait! I'm wearing green as well. :) Not a drop of Irish blood in me, but I guess you have tons of Irish in you, Jeff!

We have had 73 degrees the past 2 days.....it won't last tho...windy weather and cooler temps for next week. I want to go kite flying:)

Jim, you cut quite the dashing figure...hope the deal went well.

I am off the next 2 nights but back on Saturday-Monday which I am leaning towards as my new schedule. Leaves me more free days during the week for the kiddos.

Going to traffic court this morning. My sons are next to me wanting to go with me to defend me. :) How cute is that? "Mom, you were not speeding!" Yeah, well, I'll probably end up paying something.

I'm a good driver! And I never use my cell phone on the road. And I had my 2 sons in the car going up hill! Oh well.

I'm off. Wish me luck! And it's cold right now, but warming to 70+. Can't wait! We need it.

Best of luck Suzie - pray the officer doesnt show, then you're golden :) At least thats how it works here...

We're expecting 4-8 inches of snow to start tonight and end tomorrow sometime... so you folks out east might want to brace for some moisture too. ;)

I hope you know I was teasing, Suzie! You are a very good driver and I wasn't a bit nervous riding to Williamsburg with you:)

Good luck, Suzie...maybe the Judge will be understanding?

Jeff, after what we have had for snow here in the previous month 4-8 inches is a mere "dusting." ;) Be safe...your snow will become our rain starting on Sunday...

I said I was guilty with explanation. The officer even said I have a +5 driving record, so I'm a good driver. She really should have given me a warning and not the ticket, but I'm okay with it. Just $62 court fee and I take the DMV course to take it completely off my record. I didn't want to pay the fine, as I didn't think I deserved the ticket, but I didn't want to have this on my record. I got off reasonably. I didn't want to just pay the ticket and get the points. And it was an eye opener to see what goes on in those hearings. Wow. I got off easy. Some people really did interesting things to get $1k fines and jail time. One man got cuffed and sent to jail. Really am glad I wasn't him. One man asked for mercy. He drove a truck for a living and the company was going to fire him if he didn't get a lesser sentence. I felt bad for him. The judge threw the book at him, 6 points, she knocked it down to 4, but he will lose his job. He already took the DMV course. So, I guess I won't do anything stupid on the road from now on. That judge said one strike and you're out!

We've had close to 70° the last couple days with up to 7" of snow by the end of the weekend.

So, I had a goal to use my 70-200 lens on the 5DII today but the kid was clinging to me all day long. I tried to take some shots of him after he went out the front door but he was trying to eat everything on the ground so that didn't work. One shot convinced me, tho, that this combo is another big winner.
