Beautiful. I love the 70-200 2.8 IS on my 5D2! It's my sharpest combo. Just long indoors. But I love the shallow DoF and so nice for getting candids in big crowds.

We are doing a "first" today. We are going to the park for a little while before we pick Aaron up from school. We are trying out the bucket swing for the first time:)
Yesterday he was sooo tired, he slept 6 of the 9 hours I had him...after a 12 hour night of sleep. Carrie told me he doesn't sleep much at the sitter's so Thursdays are catch up days here. He loves my bed!

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

You are setting yourself up for a comment, Mo! You are so funny.

I just got my 430II from Amazon. Now I have the 430 II, 580. I don't have the 580II. I am selling the 430EX I or my old 550EX to a friend. I need 3 flashes for the work I do. But today, I helped the LifeTouch crew at my son's school. They shoot with N*kons now, that's it. They use a nice system for their portrait work. It's a nice vertical stand that holds the camera on a bracket so it can do portrait or landscape easily and the whole set up has the monitor right there on the stand. Very easy to use. They use an enormous octobox and 2 smaller lights, one next to the octobox and one even smaller on top for hair. There is a simple long reflector on the other side. I don't know if that's what I'd do, but the props were a little cheesy. Still, the kids were all cute. It's not the type of work I enjoy, so more power to them. I like natural light.

Here's my first shot from the new 70-200. I also used it today during a change of command ceremony but I will not be posting any images from that due to privacy.

I think Jacob might be a good assistant some day... this is my think tank airport international bag - Suzie, I'm sure you recognize it without explanation ;)

I forgot how HARD it is to take swinging pictures. And I am dumb...instead of giving him a little push, I was pushing him hard. But he loved it.

Oh, your children are precious! Jacob is so big already! Wow, he's already trying to get into the gear luggage. :) The International is a great bag. Love the way it fits just about everything. I got the low dividers so I can put my netbook in it.

And Nick! He's so smiley. He's got that grin. And Skip, nice hairy arms. :) Or was that you, Mo?;)

Too cute, Mo. You are introuble now...our grandkids loved to swing at that age...we spent all our "park" time pushing kids back and forth :)
