I did! Got everything done I needed to. My sons are all settled into the evening routine and I got Nathans for dinner. :)

Hi, Jim! I just got back from the Temple. It's been a beautiful Veteran's day. So sunny. Oh, did I tell you all that the church here in VA assigned me to be their official photographer for their PR department! I may have credentials! I can get into press things! :)

We landed about 5" of snow between last night and today. It finally feels like it is November. Kinda glad we actually had a long summer/fall this year - first time in a mighty long time that we haven't had snow in Sept or Oct.

Here's the latest and greatest.... I am fulfilling a short fall TDY/deployment somewhere, at some point in December. I don't know exactly when or where I'll be going but I will be gone for six months. It was a tough choice to make, but I feel it is the right choice, as does Natalie and that's what matters.

Eeks. Good luck Jeff! I hope you don't have to lose any wedding clients because of that. But dang that's gonna be hard on Nat. Hope she doesn't get preggers again before you leave. ;)

Hi Suzie,

Congratulations on PR photographer position. It should lead you to lots of new photo ops:)

Jeff,

Tough decision but a good one. Hopefully job prospects will have improved by the time you return.

Jeff, it's not awful. My friend here is getting her husband back at the end of the month or early next month. She's got 5 kids and has maintained her sanity. She doesn't work, so his income is all they have. She has been without him many times, at 6 month intervals. He's a year or two away from retirement. It's hard, but not impossible. Natalie is a strong person, she'll be fine, just missing you. And we're here, so if you can come on sometimes, that would be great.

It sure sounds better than not working at all. If Natalie supports you on it, you're golden.

Best of luck, Jeff.

Thanks Tiff. Only questionable client is in Jul, luckily.

Thank you all for the support. I know it will be fine - definitely not impossible and we are ready for it.

Home from mom's safe & sound. She sure enjoyed Nicholas....laughed at all his devilishness ;) and thought he was so cute, funny & smart. He is talking really well for 18 months...says tons of 1 or 2 words and will try to say anything you tell him to. I got a kick out of him...in the mornings he couldn't wait to go outside and bird watch at my sister's many feeders. He would bring his hoodie to me and say "Jacket, please." Clear as a bell. He also talked to his brother eveyday on the phone...so cute to hear him jabbering at Aaron.

Sad they can't live together, Mo, but cute they still have that connection.

I am lucky too. Sorry I wasn't around all week but I didn't even take my laptop to mom's. It was all I could do to take care of her and Nick :) Good to be home although tough to leave Nicholas screaming in Bakersfield. :(:( He did not want to go home with his mom.
Tonight Aaron is coming to spend the night so I will have some time with him:)
