Hope you are all surviving the post Turkey Day Feast. I was out shopping at 0400 and now am getting ready to put up the first round of Christmas Decor.....my Christmas Village. This year it will have to go up on top of the kitchen cabinets to keep Nick out of it. Probably next year, too :)

I manage to get photos of our kids only at the holidays so here they are. Today Ryan fell off a 30 ft. cliff while snowboarding.... waiting for him to arrive home (transported) so I can check him out. He hurt his leg pretty badly.

Well I am going back to work after 5 glorious days off. I have my Christmas Village up :) All my gifts are loaded in my car and all my wrapping stuff. No patients this weekend so I am going to use the time to my advantage.... get all my gifts wrapped. Hooray.

Back from NYC. Train got in at 5PM yesterday. Tons of photos to process (5D & 24-105MM or 15MM fisheye).

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with Jimmy and Nicole. Thanksgiving dinner was superb...Nicole is a 1st class cook :-)

Friday we toured NYC and did touristy things. We went to the Whitney Museum to see a photographic exhibit by Lee Friedlander...it was fantastic. Here is a link:
http://whitney.org/Exhibitions/LeeFriedlander (external link)

We then went to see the newly renovated Grand Central Station. Check out the photo...can you find Elaine & Jimmy (hint...look in front of the Cop on the left middle).

After dinner at Morton's Steak House, we went went to Junior's for world class cheesecake...awesome for sure. I'm on crackers and water for this week...got to shed at least 5 lbs!

Ohhh, Jim. Junior's is on my list of places to go when we do NYC in May. I already have it mapped out from our hotel... 1.6 miles. We will need to walk there and back after what I am going to eat :) I am hoping you, Jon and Suzie might come into the city the weekend we are there (May 6-7); it is my birthday and we could all do something fun :)

Suzie, I wrapped 35 gifts last night at work. Skip got the tree up today (not decorated yet) so it is starting to look very festive aound our house.

Mo, it is really great...better than the Cheesecake Factory! It is located in the Fulton Outdoor Mall area...great shopping there! Here are a couple of shots w/the 5D & 24-105MM at 3200 ISO.

I love NYC. I grew up there, but never had money to spend. I did get cheesecake from Juniors, though. The chocolate mousse is to die for. I am not sure about spending the weekend there as it's the MathCounts finals in Alexandria, but I may come up of Thursday. If I can drive up or take a bus or train, I will.

Mo, I'll put 5-6 May on my calendar. Jimmy & Nicole want us to come back in the Springtime and this date would work well :):)

How did this thread get to page TWO?!?!?

i took some wonderful shots of Aaron today....very rare that he will even look my direction with a camera. But add a few fall leaves and some fun and he was a great subject. I shot about 300+ and most are keepers.
