Jim, are you going to the temple on Friday? I didn't realize people decided, but I can try to get there.

Lisa,

So sorry to hear about the divorce...sometimes things just don't work out the way you want them to. Best of luck...I'll keep you in my thoughts.

ahh it's been a long road and I tried my best...the move to Missouri allowed me to see I could move on.

So, in a couple months this too shall pass! :-)

I'm good about it, wanted to do it for years just never felt I could.

I know that sounds kinda bad, but no one knows what I've been through, cept say a few on here. Looking forward to life on the other side of this..

Tiff I have tried getting snowflake shots, but the snowflakes here are never very pretty, they are just kinda ugly clumps of crystals. We have "the best snow on earth" but it is not the best to photograph haha, alough I am sure we get pretty ones sometimes too, but never when I have time to shoot them.

Leesa, sorry about the divorce.

Interesting on the G12.

Brooke, I have had pretty good luck two years running though I think I will be switching from my 5D to by Xti for this year's pics. My first try worked a little better than the second but my second set are here:

Tiff,

Cool snowflake shots (no pun intended) :) Did you use the 100MM macro lens?

I'm probably going to pass on Friday night...we have the grandkids from Saturday to the next Friday...Jenn is going to Orlando, FL for a conference and John has the night shift. I may take them there on Saturday night.

Fun stuff, Robert!

I went to a ladies meeting last night including a service auction and cookie exchange. I brought B&W's from Weggmans. :) I love those cookies, very expensive, $5 for 10 cookies. Anyway, I offered my holiday family portrait package and a nice lady with 2 grown sons got it, so I'll be putting that on in a few weeks. I got "A Pie a Month" for 3 months, any flavor I want! :) and a lesson in making freezer jam, which is actually something I love and would enjoy doing. Got to clean up the freezer, though. :) I'm thinking peach pie.
