Ooooo. Are you home yet?

Hi, Jeff! I love mine. Just got 2 more apps today.

Greetings from my iPad 2 :-)

All setup...when I synced it to my PC it offered me the option to install everything I had on my iPad 1. So I did that and everything is good to go! Photos, Apps, Music, everything!

I love this thing

I hope Jim had a good time. I wish I could have gone today, but it's going to be crowded. My math game of 24 competition this morning was really successful. Jared, my 13 year old won for the 8th grade, and Greg (11) won 2nd place in 6th grade. The elementary kids didn't do so well, but my middle school kids got all 4 trophies for 8th grade, and #1 for 7th grade (I only had one from my school). So, my students got 6 of the possible 12 trophies. Very happy. I'm extremely blessed to have such great kids. I took pictures and video for the county and hopefully, will be published again, this time as a producer and writer as well as the photographer.

I have spent the day doing continuing education. Now... off to Home Depot and out to the garden.

What a day we have had at the Tidal Basin! We got rained on, hit with hail, had high winds, and finally a cold front passed through and we almost froze! But, we had a wonderful time. Got lots of great photos but the light was very dull...way too overcast! But, here is a photo of the newly weds :)

Glad they were wearing the appropriate gear, Jim! Great shot.

I just got home from Baltimore to one of Ken's work parties. It was a clear cool night, not cold at all. Sorry you got the bad weather, Jim. Very tired. See you all tomorrow.

I spent many hours on the first one. I didn't have time this year. Like you have time, Mo? Tell me when to order it. I always get one or two.

Last night's event in Baltimore was really wonderful. I sat next to an award winner and his Mom. He was a delight and I am going to contact him about speaking to the kids at the middle school about careers in engineering. He was inspiring. We had an interesting salad, not delicious, by any stretch, then we had overcooked steak, but it was tender and the creamed corn flan had lobster pieces on top. It was yummy. The desserts were in the hall and I had 3! They were small. The chocolate mousse was delicious, but very rich. I think I gained 3 pounds before leaving. No dancing, just watched the 2nd NCAA game, last 5 minutes on the iPad 2 in the car. I fell asleep 2 minutes before it ended. :( I was too tired. Good games, though.

Suzie,

Speaking of the iPad 2, I bought the 1GB Verizon Plan for $20.00 a month...it works like a champ! 1GB is plenty for those times when you are on the road, not in sight of a WiFi signal, and want to check on Internet things.

We just finished a pancake and bacon breakfast! Since we got home so late, we decided to have a big breakfast and maybe have supper at 2 instead of lunch and dinner today. We can have hot cocoa and cupcakes (I have 50 of them) for an evening treat. It's General Conference weekend, meaning we're watching 4 hours of church speakers, very uplifting and our ritual.

Greg really wants to go to the Basin tomorrow, so we'll probably take metro or drive. I have to be home by 2:30 to take Jared to the dentist. Bummer.

Jim, I also got the 1GB Verizon plan. Wonderful reception, even in the car watching the on our way home. I am really enjoying it. Now I wish I got the 64 GB one. :(

It was exhausting, but well worth it.
