Congrats, Jim! That's great! My parents never graduated from high school, I don't think, but were quite educated. My siblings and I love being college graduates because it opened a lot of doors for us. I am glad it is done with, my BS and have a few grad courses done. I just wish I could take classes and not have to take any tests. :) But someday, when the boys are gone, I'm going to have fun and teach at a school somewhere to encourage excellence, none of this everyone wins stuff they are selling to kids. Although every child is important, there is very little to inspire excellence.

Good Morning, Suzie!

Elaine and I actually met in college...a great side benefit of higher education  Elaine has a BA in Marketing.

How do you like the Tom Bihn bag you got for your iPad? I am loving mine :)

Jim, thank you forever for that wonderful recommendation. When I am traveling around without a purse, that's the one I grab. It can fit my netbook, the iPad 2 and my Kindle. It's a great bag and so well made. Between you and Jon, I'm going to be poor, but happy. :)

Great! I knew that you would like it :)

Have you setup Skype on your iPad 2 yet? It is fun for sure...last night I talked with my brother over the iPad...video is not great but it works!

Well today's the day! Will we have a functioning Government after midnight?

I filed my taxes electronically last night...just in time...got an IRS receipt back in less than 10 minutes. Didn't even have to send them a check...they will "reach into my bank account" and take the amount I owe them :)

Hope you feel better, Tiff. My son in UT is sick as well, and he has finals coming up.

I filed this morning, Jim. I have money coming back and Ken didn't get to it until yesterday. I hope I get a good reward for putting the time in.

Do we have a functioning government now?

I'll probably need to help my daughter if her pay check gets delayed (SSA). Oh well.

I'm getting enough back to buy the 70-200MM f/2.8 EF L MKII :-) I'm working on a deal with Brooke to sell her my f/4 IS version...I want my lenses to have a good home when I sell them :-)

Good point, Skip  I know all about helping our kids...Elaine and I do it all the time. I have a saying that is ever so true: "Your kids are your kids until you die, then they become adults!" :)

Hey, do you Brooke would rather have my 70-200 2.8 IS Version I? I'm selling that to fund my Version II. :)

Not sure about the government, though.

NBC said Congress is getting close. I hope so.

Anyway, I got a strange hair cut this morning. The owner of the shop let her assistant cut my hair today since it was color day and she couldn't do it. She told the lady, "Only cut one inch." Before we could stop her, she had cut up to 4 inches off my already not so long hair. The owner almost screamed when she saw the hair on the floor, really cut more than 3-4 inches, and the horror on her face made me very nervous. But I didn't say anything but shrugged my shoulders. It turned out fine, it grows back, just very different than what I'm used to. I'll see in the morning if it's a good cut as I have to shower and get to a school meeting. Wish me luck!

Yep I am excited about getting the 70-200! :)

I would like the 2.8 IS, but I don't think I can pull it off, I will be stretching to get Jim's but it is definitely worth it! :)
