The baby is beautiful but Nai Nai's face tells it all.

Bless the recently fallen and their family and friends.
I have a Cannon with me at all times. You can't take the shot if you don't have something with which to shoot.

Well she is beautiful, Suzie! She looks big so I want to know all her stats :) And yes, heaven is good way to describe how it feels to be a grandparent!

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

I just arrived home today, at 1:20, and went straight to a retirement party for my 2 son's 5th grade science teacher. I came home to shoot that because she's that special. Thirty seven years of teaching and many students later, she's a legend. I think I got a few good ones for her.

Here are a few pictures. I went to UT to see my sister win the Mother of the Year Award for NY, and ended up getting a granddaughter and spending loads of time with my sons and my sisters. It was a wonderful 4 days, and I hated leaving, but I love my 3 guys here, and soon, we'll all go west to see the little addition. Yes, they are calling me "Nai Nai" which is paternal grandmother in Mandarin.

First time holding Annie. Do I look like I'm in heaven?

She leads with her tongue.

I have more, but they are on my iPhone. :)

Awesome, Suzie! Congratulations, Grandma :) The expression on your face says it all!

And to add - yes those pics are awesome Suzie. Makes us thankful and appreciate life for sure! I hope you had a fun time in UT. Sounds like it was short, but worth it!

I don't want to be political either, but I couldn't stay up to see the news, so I woke up to it this morning. I'm not going to say it's all over because I know better, but it will, hopefully, give some victims so closure.

Thanks to you all! I am feeling very old, but still, very grateful. Annie was 6 pounds 8 ounces, 18 1/2 inches and can make you want to cry when she is sad. Sarah pushed 3 times and out Annie came! She didn't gain much weight at all, and she is nursing, so hopefully, she'll be back to normal quickly. Brandon just finished his first year of law school, so it's all good.

Mo, when are you coming to NYC? I'm thinking I may spring up there on Monday. I may just take the metro and meet up with you.

We are leaving tomorrow morning. I would LOVE to see you but don't push yourself if it is a mad scramble in your life. See what the weekend brings and then decide if you are up to it. I will PM you my cell number :)

Got it! Right now I'm getting the house clean to have the countertop-granite guy here tomorrow. Our island will be going in at the end of the month.

I am going to figure out if I really want to spend the money for camera and shooting work insurance this year. I've been avoiding shooting in public and that means I don't need $2 m in insurance for liability. So, I may cancel my current policy and get another one.

A quick good morning! We are having our quarterly Board of Directors meeting in my office all week. I have so busy hosting and participating :-) Awesome Board dinner last night at the Wharf on King Street! Yummy, yummy crab cakes!

So jealous. I had lunch with Patrick at our favorite Chinese place. Yummy. Jim, it's stressful and weird, but a good thing to have board members around. They can see what you do around there. :)

Life is good. Sarah & the baby are doing well. I think Sarah is realizing that being a new Mom is not really as easy as she thought. It is overwhelming to be in charge of a little one. When I had my last 2, I was a pro. They didn't freak me out, or were too demanding because I wanted them so much and relished every moment. She just has to get into her groove again. :) I love my family. I can't wait to take more baby pictures.
