Hello!! I promise that after the wedding reception next weekend, you will see more of me. I could not resist peeking into my NYC photos though :) All the wedding photos were starting to look awful to me so I switched sides of the country for a few minutes to reset my brain.;)
Here are 2 faves... I have only looked at about 100 of the 1200 shots I took.

Great wedding yesterday. The rains held off and the ceremony was outdoors :) Did the formal photography outdoors as well. We drove home last night through some tremendous rain storms...lots of thunder and lightning! When we got home around 10PM it was raining so hard we sat in the car holding hands for 45 minutes waiting for it to let up. There are days when I really miss a garage!

Backed up 800+ files to 3 HDs and my 16GB datakey. Took the day off today and will start editing tomorrw eveniing.

Hope everyone had a great weekend! Elaine and I sure did :)

Not too many of my night shots came out up there because it was so windy and no tripods were allowed. I had to steady myself against the wall and hope for the best :)

You've got to do with what you've got! Mo, great shots. Love the views. I miss NY"C. :(

Jim, miss you. Glad you had a good wedding to shoot. I'm exhausted. Got my 70-200 f4 back from Carol tonight. Hope to get my 5D2 back. Anyone know which plug in is the one for the 5D2 for PS? Poor Brittany couldn't see any of the images in RAW last night and remembered she hadn't gotten the plug in or upgraded her PS. I told her I just bought Elements 8 recently and it was already in it. No plug in necessary. it's around $80 now. She should be fine.

I'm hoping my week is slower than my weekend.

I could definitely go back to NYC. We did a lot in one week but I loved every bit of it.... except wearing a dress and high heels (to Carnegie Hall). We probably walked 8-10 miles a day and I didn't eat nearly what I thought I would. So much good food there.....

Morning all. Had a busy weekend. Spent the weekend in Baltimore and DC for a shoot. After the shoot we decided to visit the museums......glad we did. Had fun with the entire family. Funny note is that the models I worked with were in victorian costume in the museums and they had photos taken with tourists or were asked if there was a party going on. Turned out to be a good weekend. Will post photos later.

Suzie, tell her to use the file "Open As" feature in PS when she selects a file...RAW is one of the options :-) See if that works. It does for PSCS4. Also, she can use the Canon file utility to open/view the RAW files and then convert to JPEG after she "tweaks" them.

Will do. Planning on a trip up to just site see. No shoots with models next time. Want more time to see all the other places as well. Thinking about some sunset shots next time as well. But I want to visit Dulless so I can photograph the big airplanes.

The Dulles Annex is just awesome! Bring a fast UWA and fire away. I use my 10-22MM on the 7D and the 17-40MM in the 5D. I haven't tried the 15MM Fisheye yet...that is a definite for the next visit...it does a great job on the 5D :-)

I am gonna have to stick to my 18-55 or the 28-135 and the trusty 7D in hand. No L glass for me just yet...but working on it.
