Seems like everyone is real busy these days.

Friday is Jared's birthday and we're spending it in Philly on his 8th grade class trip, 450 kids with 101 adults. Should be a blast! I'm taking my 5D2 and 24-70 and a flash and that's it. It may be raining so I don't want to take too much stuff. I am also carrying it all.

Suzie - Still Speaking Canonese!
RF6 Mii, 5DIV, SONY a7iii, 7D2, G12, 6 L's & 2 Primes, 25 bags.
My children and grandchildren are the reason, but it's the passion that drives me to get the perfect image of everything.

So, you got your 5D MKII back :-) Have fun on your trip!

I got it back last night. Brittany was extremely gracious. She hoped Canon was going to offer her a refurbed 5D2, but they didn't. I doubt there are any of those around. People generally run with that. But she should get her 5D back soon. I let her borrow my 40D so she will have that in case she needs it.

How did her wedding shoot go? Hope she got some good captures.

I'm beginning to like my 7D more than my 5D! The 7D is an awesome performer!

Jim, as soon as I plan another trip up that way I will let you know. I plan on spending the weekend up there to make sure not to miss anything. Dulless Annex is where I really want to go and get the big birds. Also want to get some sunset stuff of DC and night shots. Plus make a trip back to Ellicott city to document the little otwn as wel. Great stuff there.

Adam,

I'm looking forward to to meeting you "face to face." FYI, I am in Chicago 26 May to 1 June and I'm in Brooklyn the 16th to 18th of June. Elaine and I are catching up on Family visits :-)

There are lots of preserves here in Manassas. We should plan a field trip.

Well the house is clean and tidy, the baby is napping, the garden looks awesome and I am exhausted. ;) Tomorrow the deliveries come and we are cooking all day. For 175 people.

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

Suzie, we will have to take Adam to the Dulles Annex and to Mount Vernon :-)

Yes. But my back yard is looking great, too! Mo, still have the mulch for the garden and we're done. :) I'm done planting and it's rained 10 days in a row. No watering here.

I'm leaving Sunday for 6 days and will be back. I am going to take my netbook and iPad so maybe I'll be on, but I'm loving my granddaughter all week. First things first. :)

Cooking for all those people and then having them all over you home. I'd be taking some good Prozac by now. But I'm having that in a few weeks for my sweet Melinda. The rehearsal dinner is at my house. Jim, want to do a shoot? :)
