Things are going well, surprisingly, it was a very hard move. But now that I am here, I like it, I miss my NYC trips but they will soon be replaced with Chicago trips!

Had some crazy weather the last few nights, poor Joplin, death toll rising and the town is about gone.

How is everyone here?

Suzy's a grandma, Jim's a Nurse's grandpa (not Maureen); Maureen's recovering from being Mother of the Bride. Adam's back on dry land, and Brooke and Tiff occasionally wander by . . .

And Kathy is still in Oregon getting rained on almost daily and very rarely gets a break from working to come here and find out what's going on.

Just thought I would pipe in :)

This is like a party here today! Welcome back, old friends. Tom, did you lose a lot of weight and get old on us? You're much better looking than that. :)

Just got back to my sister's house and getting ready for bed. I'm tired. Glad to see you all out and reading the happenings. And it rained here like crazy today. Heard it was bad in VA. What is with the weather?

Hey all! Thought I might as well join in the fun today.

Suzie I hope you are enjoying UT, congrats on the grandbaby! :) The weather here has been nuts lately! They say we live in a desert, but I don't know if that is true anymore haha... now we are worried about flooding instead of the usual drought. I hope it clears up a little and there is some nicer weather for you to enjoy while you are here. We still need t get together when you have time during one of your visits.

I am getting my first L lens in the next couple of days (70-200 f4L!!), I am buying it from Jim, and I am so excited! :)

Brooke, it is weird. I'm wearing jeans today in the dessert. Yesterday I was really cold. I'm trying to get together with one of my college friends this week. She works just across the road from my son's, so it's okay. Not too complicated.

Great to see everyone. I hope to sell my 70-200 f4 as well sometime, but right now, I can't think about those things. Great lens, just don't need so much gear.

I am surprised how little gets done during the day when you stare at a little baby. :)

Jim! Let me have a go at it when I see you next! Don't even start me on wanting that lens. I'm really considering it as I can still sell my Version I. No idea if I'll do that before the end of the year. May have to ask for it for Christmas. :)
