Wow, it's been a LONG time since I checked in with you guys!! I was just re-reading a bunch of my posts from 3-4 years ago, brings back lots of memories of the great wedding forum we had going here in late 2007.

How are things everyone?

WOW is right! Hello Jeff, LONG LONG time indeed! I miss this forum also and am making an attempt to get in here more often. I need the encouargement, critique, support and friendship I always got here to re-light my passion to be creative with my photography! Some of my fondest memories regarding photography come from this forum and all the wonderful people here. I learned more in here than anywhere and grew a successful business with the help I got from POTN members.

So I intend to stay active here and gather new ideas and advice!

Hi, Jeff! Great seeing you here. I hope more people are getting married so pros can work. Rght now most people trust that pictures will be taken, but not necessarily want to pay us to do it. For Jeff, this is the real job. Good luck in 2012. I hope things will pick up for you.

Well, besides, Kathy, we miss your wonderful photos and seeing your little granddaughter so you better hang around more often. I look at your Senior photos to get ideas when I am shooting mine! Suzie, can't wait to see photos of Annie.

Hey morning guys/girls!

I'm still unfortunately working another day job still... kills me that I have to, but I really do because of circumstances that are hard to explain here.... anyways....

Went to the Gym this morning, that is another thing I've decided to get back into after gaining 40 lbs of the 70 lbs I lost in 2007!! I've been at it about 6 weeks and lost 10 lbs so far, but man is it rough getting up at 5:30 some mornings!!

Anyways, how is everyone else this morning?

Jeff, funny you have gained 40 pounds, I have lost 40 pounds. My loss was due to an accident that broke some teeth and the "fix up" on them was NOT pleasant and made eating quite a chore. All better now though!

Off to work I go, only 11 more school days until summer break. Even though the weather looks NOTHING like summer... rain again today, GEEZ!

It's been raining here like crazy as well! Better than snow I guess! lol

Kathy, your granddaughter is adorable and you are still doing great work. The best I can do is get some quick snaps of my little guys because they don't stop for a second. Sorry about your accident and hope you are having fun gaining some of that weight back.

Jeff, I hear ya about weight. I lost 100 lbs. 3 years ago and last year I gained about 22 of it back. I am holding steady tho so maybe this is my comfort zone. I sure miss my size 8 jeans tho..... I have had stomach problems all week.... the crappy flu Tuesday night; that part is gone but the stomach pains and cramping continue. Maybe I'll take a few pounds off before I feel better but I am ready for this to end. The 24 hour a day gut busting pain is just not fun.

And we are unusually cool as well, Kathy. No complaints about 75 degree days when we are normally pushing 100.

Awesome photos by all!

Elaine and I drove 14 hours today and we are now in our hotel in Milwaukee!

In the morning we will explore the downtown area. At 4PM is nurse's pinning ceremony and we are going out to celebrate with the whole family afterwards. Saturday at 10AM is the graduation ceremony. Then we all drive back to Napierville, IL for a big party!

Jeff, you are a man of many talents

My son, Jimmy, played bass gituar in a rock band for three years before he went to Law School. He still talks about what fun time it was...I have two CDs produced by his band, Motorcycle WArs.
