Thanks! I think she is adorable & beautiful too and yes Jim, they do grow up too fast! I can't believe she is almost 4. We went to her pre school graduation last night and I was amazed at how much she learned!

Maureen your little one is soooo cute and so big, I still picture him as a baby! Time flys! Hope you get past the flu bug soon, we too have had a lot of that here lately and everyone was passing it off as alergys and so in error spreading it like wild fire!

Happy Friday everyone! Have a safe and fun holiday weekend!

Yes, It's Memorial Day weekend here:) We're not doing anything, always too much traffic and too many people. And it is pretty much a sure bet that it will rain the entire weekend, our area is famous for that. We used to go camping over this weekend, but after many years of always getting rained out we finally gave up on it! My idea of fun is not sitting in the woods in a tent or camper watching the rain fall! I can sit in my house and watch that and have luxuries!:)

Well I am slowly improving.... have lost 7 lbs. this week so I guess I shouldn't complain so much, LOL. My gut still has episodes of sharp pains so this gastroenteritis is a nasty one. Hope you all have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend (or just a good old weekend). I am doing a Senior shoot tomorrow afternoon and hosting a poker game/dinner Sunday evening. Back to work on Monday........

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

Yikes, Mo...take it easy. I'll come to your poker party...I love poker and have played it for years :-)

Hi! Got back at midnight and had a shoot and a baptism with a dinner after. It was a long day. I went to Costco at 9:30 to buy food for Monday, we're having a barbecue.

Hi, Jeff! I remember you mentioned your band. I know it's tough out there as people think they can do the good photography with their P&S these days. Keep plugging away at it.

Kathy, granddaughters are amazing! You little one is adorable.

Mo, 7 pounds in a week is a little extreme, so take it slow. I know you get stressed, but I'm thinking of you.

Jim, miss you and hope you are having fun with your family.

Jon, where are you? Doing anything shooting-wise in the near future? I'm really busy, but would love to see you guys sometime this summer.

Messing with all manner of things electronic and digital, but very little photographic on the clock until the New Garden Airshow mid-June. Eagerly awaiting the Toshiba tablet, though.

Wish we still had air shows around here! Hoping they fly a few jets over for our Memorial Day parade, it always makes it much more exciting!

I managed to get through my senior shoot today with no rain until the very end, in fact I even got to shoot in a very rare condition....SUNSHINE! I haven't worked in sun for so long I was kind of confused on what to do! The place we went to had very few trees to help shade but luckily it was a girl with long hair so backlighting worked. I hate trying to take boy's pictures in sun, their ears end up transparent pink!

Kathy, I had to shoot in a chapel with mainly outside light. I'll give you examples later, but it was awful. It's a good think I have the 7D and 5D2 and no flash, high ISO and f2.8 lenses. Gear is everything in such conditions. Hope your shoot worked out for you. Mine was tough, but the performers were in decent lighting.

I am so tired. i guess we all need the extra day here in the US to relax and eat a ton of food. :)

Jon, would love to do something in the near future, but I know how busy we all are.

Suzie, Mine worked out pretty nice, I am editing now and very happy with most. The fact that she is a beautiful girl helped too!:D

I agree having the proper gear sure makes the job easier but sometimes it's just tough anyway! Hope your shoot turned out well.

I got sprinkles at the tail end of my Senior shoot as well. This little gal was super shy and self-conscious.... it took a lot of coaxing to get a little bit of results.

Suzie, glad you are home now... enjoy the weekend. I am still not feeling right although maybe a little better. Poor Aaron now has it and according to his daddy, he is pretty miserable. I feel soooo bad.

Here is Brittany:
