Nice shots Maureen! The shy ones are tough to work with but you did great with her!

Her mom is a nurse I used to work with and told me her daughter refused to have her school pictures done for the past 3 years. It is the mom's only daughter (she has 3 sons) and she was sick about not having Senior pictures. I took about 70 and 40 of them came out decent so mom will have a lot of choices.

Fun stuff, senior shots. Good job, Mo!

Cleaning tomorrow morning and cooking and having friends over at 3. Should be a hot fun day. Heat index, will be hitting 100.

The shoots this weekend were amazing. My friend, Helen, asked me to shoot a recital for her daughter who sings opera. She is s senior. She was truly amazing. Sang 10 songs, some in German. I cried. It was that good. Then tonight we had an Eagle Court of Honor for one of my husband's scouts. Jacob just turned 14 and got his Eagle. Shooting that was flat, but still, a nice time. I have too much to do in the next few days.

Hope everyone is having a good long weekend. Tell me what you are up to. Kathy, I am glad I can Skype my little granddaughter once a week.

Hot here already. Went to Wegamens this morning and it was empty, but great store. Love their bakery. Meat is in the fridge ready to be seasoned, house is almost clean enough to not be too ashamed of it. I'm hoping to spend most of the week dealing with the island.

Have a wonderful holiday everyone!

Our weather here is that way too, normally we are in the 90's by now and being cooled with light rains. This year we are lucky to see 50 and it rains(pours) most of the day. We have yet to have a day or night since last August 31 that we have not had a fire in the stove. When I got up this morning at 4:30 (because I was cold), the fire was nearly out and I relit it and stuffed the stove full.

I am afraid of what it will be like once the hot weather does hit, we are all so used to being cold we will probably melt!!

A couple from an engagement shoot I finally finished editing. They really wanted the pictures to have an "old west" type look.

I had a maternity/family/children shoot this morning that was.... ummmm...disturbing:( The photo part went great and I got lots of wonderful shots, but some of the happenings were very very odd, actually I could even go so far as to say scary or spooky IMO.

I worry about parents and their children sometimes, but I step back, I try not to judge. I don't know the dynamics because as teachers, we have to report anything that is questionable.

My granddaughter is so sweet and small, I forget babies can be so small. My own 4 sons were larger and grew like weeds. Annie is small and takes growing very slowly.

We are home! 1,835 miles driving in six days...I am worn out!

The graduation ceremonies were just awesome. Meg is now a Nurse graduate and has a job with Milwaukee's largest hospital...she is in the ICU unit. TJ starts at the University of Minnesota in August :-)

I, of course, have tons of photos to edit! Here is a quick sample ...note that Meg is wearing her MSOE Nurse's Pin :-)

Elaine and I are so proud of them both!
