Nope. I'm living the commercial I just saw, where people are asked to write what they'd do if someone would pay them to do what they love. Turned out to be a commercial for retirement planning!

Mine would be pretty much using a camera all day to capture moments in time whether it be people, places or things.

Hello all!! I don't even know how long it has been since I was on here! Seems like everyone is busy and gone, but I thought I would say hi! I'm still doing photography, though a little less of the business side of it. Those of you who I am friends with on FB get to see it haha.

I just jumped on here because I am in the market for a 15-85mm lense, but I thought I would look around and say hello while I was at it.

No, not engaged... That was the plan haha, I'm sure you saw the photos of us and everything. Michael and I were planning on getting married May 16th, but he decided he wanted to enjoy the single life for longer. It is definitely for the best, I have
learned more about him and that it was not the best relationship, and I am very glad that I did not marry him.

So I guess I am back on the hunt hahaha! Just enjoying life and trying to do fun things to make it better while I look for a great guy

Ah, well yes, then it was for the best. You are a go-getter, Brooke, so I am sure the right kind of guy will show up when you least expect it. I met mine when I had already made a conscious decision not to get married; all my friends were getting divorced before age 30 & I didn't like anything I saw out there. Now I have been married 30 years.....

And Skip is terrific! And cute, too.

Hi, Everyone! Been so busy, I haven't had a minute to myself. School is over for my boys today, so I will have more time. My son and his wife are moving out in 3 weeks, so I won't have my grandkids all the time. I am going to try to do more fun photography now. Glad to see everyone.

I'm done with the boys and school this year. Ended yesterday. I'm ready to rock 'n roll. But I see you've had some pretty cute grandsons to keep up with yourself, Mo! I'm wondering if Jon is around. I saw Jim 2 times since we last talked.

Down in NC for the summer. Beats the torrid DC weather.

Jon, we considered getting a vacation spot there where you are and decided to build the house instead. If my hubby were to slow down in the next few years, I would have done it. But he's busier than ever.

I just bought a SL1 for my birthday, 2 weeks late, but it's for fun and also for teaching. I'm hoping to get out more to shoot and teach a few ladies how to use their new cameras. I may buy stock in Canon since I convinced about 20 ladies to buy Canons.
