Thanks to all for competing.. Everytime I checked this competition your images made me hungry..You truly entered into the spirit of the competition.. I could see, smell and taste your offerings.

Allen,,your use of colour is great.. Nice saturated colours and the red peppers really stood out..

Flo,,simply delicious.. I could smell this one and any seafood is my favourite especially Asian style seafood.. I like the out of focus green garnish in the background and the red chili stands out giving a nice contrast to the image..

Mike,,your pigs head gave me a chuckle.. I see a lot of this here in Laos.. A fun image..

Maureen,,that crown roast is nothing short of spectacular.. It made my saliva flow.. Nice use of textures..You can invite me over for dinner any time ;)

lavanut,, I have a sweet tooth.. I eat this after I've devoured Maureen's crown roast.. The blue background adds a nice touch to this image..

carianoff,,thanks for the recipe.. Nice use of colours and textures and I like the way the highlights glisten..

But,,there can only be one winner..

{drum roll} and the winner is Jason..

I like this for its sheer simplicity, great use of depth of field and the mononchrome effect.. It has impact and would make a nice printed and framed image in the dinning room or kitchen.. Well done!!!

Jurgen, thank you. You surely had your work cut out for you with all of these wonderful submissions, and it's always great getting a good turnout. Thank you all for your submissions, and thanks Gail.

"harvest" is part of a triptyche I put together for school, but I opted to submit a trip of my niece instead. It is printed, with its trip counterparts and is awaiting a custom frame, so I can give it to my mother-in-law.

I'll have Challenge #119 up tomorrow by 6 PM PST. I want to think about a subject that will generate some interest, as oppossed to my last subject.

Thanks again.

Jason C

Nice work Jason - a fine shot!

Super duper entries this round - and thanks for judging Jurgen, that was an unenviable task!
