G11 Photos Thread.

G11 pics are looking better than the G10. I'm glad to see that.

A fly-by-night picture of my dogs and basement with the G11
ISO800 - no flash
Cropped, leveled and unsharpened a tad
Pretty impressed...

These Higher ISO pics look way better than anything I got out of my G10. Looks like Canon did it right. The S90 pictures look great as well, that f/2.0 lens has me wanting one pretty bad now. Someone needs to start a "Show us your best" thread for the G11

Well jimmyfingers maybe I just got ahead of my time and you'll be posting those fantastic photos in the future, lol, I have no idea what I was doing but I remember writing the post, maybe I was thinking about something from another thread. Well at least I'm glad I wasn't insulting you

Not really, so far this is more like a collection of random high ISO shots. Not that these aren't helpful and appreciated... but these hardly represent the "Best" these guys can get out there and do with their new toys

posted these in another thread, but seeing as i've only had it a few days, i guess these would be the 'best' so far

Given the way the G11 apparently compares with the G10, do we now know why the D700 delivers better images than the 5D2?

^ pete, I told you that last week... less mp is always better if given the same or close processing in camera.
