Ok, took some moon shots of the Harvest Moon last weekend, and went all over the board for settings from F/5 to F16 and shutter times of 150 - 350. 5D2. Canon 75-300IS (IS turned off on tripod). Remote switch. 100 iso. Kenko 1.4x TC.
And this is the best shot I got, which doesnt look anywhere as sharp and clear as other shots I have seen with the same 75-300/1.4X TC that I have seen.
Can anyone tell what I am doing wrong? To much ambient light around me, maybe?
This is 100% crop.
Thanks!

Even having EC set for three shots, 0, -1, +1.
