I am hoping to shoot tethered with my 5D & netbook - but when I try to run the Eos digital solution disc, it won't install the EOS utility - says not enough screen resolution.

Lightroom installed ok & so did zoom browser - so I am really confused.

My screen resolution is 1024 x 600 but I don't know what screen resolution the EOS utility needs.

It's a know bug/requirement. Plug the netbook into an external monitor just while you install the software.

Hi - thanks- in the interim I managed to find out how to reset the resolution.

A bit inconvenient, needing to scroll the screen.

DPP demands 1024x768 at a minimum...

Whoa okh, talk about digging up the past.

Anyone else that runs across this, connect your netbook to an external display and set the resolution over 1024x768. Install DPP/EOS util/etc and then disconnect the display.

You're done.

I had to find an older driver version for my intel video card to make that happen.
