I want my photos in my library to be in capture order, however, whenever I do a new import, everything starts out fine but when I go to edit in PSE, it adds the TIF files at the end of that filmstrip. When I look at my sort order it has changed to added order instead of capture order. I change it to capture order which puts the TIFs back next to the original raw files but the next time it does it all over again. It is truly maddening!

I'm not positive, but I think it's possible that when you change the content of the folder the order automatically "flips". For example, suppose you are set to Capture Time, then drag a shot to a different spot in the strip -- the Sort Order changes to User Order. Something similar may happen when you do an Edit in Photoshop -- I've seen the "tiff goes to the end of the line" behavior before, although in the test I just did the tiff stayed in the proper place. So, things seem to behave a bit differently depending on, well, stuff..

Use stack with original, order shouldn't change then

I don't hate macs or OSX, I hate people and statements that portray them as better than anything else. Macs are A solution, not THE solution. Get a good desktop i7 with Windows 7 and come tell me that sucks for photo or video editing.

I've done both of that. I'm not dragging or doing anything to the sort order, It's just putting the created tiffs at the end. Also, I am stacking...
