October snow, with the colors of fall...

It was a record breaking one, only snowed earlier than October 10th twice since 1949 in Omaha. Woke up to 4" of snow, with areas to my NW picking up 7-8" It took everyone by surprise (yes even the meteorologists), so I decided I would document it. I went to Platte River state park to take some images of this interesting fall snow. Even the leaves on most trees were still green!
