Hello.

Here are a couple of birds I photographed near Venice, Louisiana. Not being knowledgable when it comes to birds, I am hoping that someone can help me with identifications.

The first one is a Stilt. Nice, close shot of it, too.

First pic is a black-necked stilt. Second looks like an osprey ready to pounce on the stilt.

Thanks, guys. The stilt was a great subject. It let me get nice and close without flying away. The osprey, on the other hand, didn't like me to be anywhere near that pole.

Both photos are rather substantial crops of the originals.
