I have just returned from a few days away but alas no camera to take, packing up the car the Lowpro bag fell out out of the car ,on examination the 40d showed no external damage , it turns on but the shutter/mirror do not operate, fortunately neither of my lens's where in the bag ( packed separately )

now as I have to replace the body I am looking a a peli case ( I am disabled and need wheels to get about so a large bag is impractical ) the equipment is listed in my sig plus the charger spare batt and cards

The bottom line is which size do i need or have you a better suggestion , note the case must provide a good level of impact protection

BTW it was a sad few days away with only a PS 590 for company ( SMBO excluded ) we had not been to the island for 30 years so was looking to renew the photos the old slides have now a blue cast to them

There are several reviews of a few sizes in the sticky on Camera Bag Reviews near the top of the page, and I've got a 1450 which is a bit bigger than what you need but I wouldn't go smaller due to cost vs versatility. Here's the link to some photos I did (with explanations) for someone here a while ago which might help.
