Nothing like the Memorial Day Parade in a small town. You have the Color Guard

You still can't beat small town USA. Nice shots of a vanishing event I'm afraid...

Thanks lostdoggy for the comment. Titus213 I sure hope they aren't vanishing completly, To me Small town Parades, Baseball, and Hot Dogs are true Americana. :) :) I enjoy watching the people more than the parade.

Nice photos :) I'd like to see the faces of the people in the pictures, backs of people don't photograph so well IMHO. My personal taste is also to focus on one thing, but that's not so always practical with parades.

Thanks Marie; Tim I had taken one of the color guard from the front but the flags hide there faces, I also thought that the one I posted was a little different then the normal, and had a little more impact with the flags, thanks for your comments all are always welcome.

Looks like a fun day. I remember parades like this from when I was growing up in the midwest. There's nothing like a small town...

Those trees sure are green, too! :D
