So....i shot a family portrait yesterday. One of the children has a lazy eye.

Anyone know of a way to fix this in PS? The mom asked if i could center it.

Tutorial, link anything?

THX!

Can you post a crop of the photo just showing the eyes? You should be able to select it and move it into position using the Move Tool followed up with some cloning and or Healing.

Here's what I'd do.

Make a rough selection of the other "non-lazy" eye and then put it on its own layer (PC shortcut CNTRL J). Position it about where the lazy eye is - change the blend mode to "difference" to see and make sure it's in the right ballpark area. Once you've done that, change back your blend mode to normal, and then Free Transform that layer - flip it horizontally, and adjust the eye's position from here to take the place of the other eye.

Then apply a layer mask to the new eye layer, and with a black brush, using a 50% opacity brush with 0% softness, blend the eye into the rest of the face.

Done!

Not to far from the busteling metropolis city center of Brush Prairie.Bout half way between there and Hockinson. It has been a nice dry summer though. Gotta keep things green around here.

What were you shooting? I'm always up for something. Last year I spent a couple days up your way at the Rodeo, but didn't make it this year.
