I've awarded and upgraded myself, after 3 years, from 30D to 7d, and, man, what a jump! I love this camera and still have a long way to go! C&C's are welcome!

These were shot with 400mm f5.6 wide open.

Triple WOW! Where you been Ben? I thought you moved to some remote Island on the other side of the world. Great to see you posting and congratulations on the 7d. These shots are fabulous, keep them coming.

Adding a WOW. Where was this taken? My favorite shooting place - Sepulveda Dam wildlife reserve - lacks that type of a stage.

Hey Steve, thanks for the comments. I wish I was on some remote island, instead of birds, I would be shooting bikini models instead... With this new body, I am sure I am back with the bird section for awhile...BTW, Pelican season is near...coming out to So Cal?

Thank you Waldemar! These were taken at San Joaquin Wildlife Sanctuary in Irvine. If you ever in OC, look me up and I will take you there!

Thank dbriz! I picked up this camera early in the evening on Thursday, worked on Friday, and these were captured on Saturday. I went out Friday after work just to learn the new toy. I am glad I upgraded!
