I need to check that location out along with the Bolsa Chica preserve. Unfortunately, my longest lens is still the 70-200.

Other birds, yes, a minimum of 400mm just to get by. Thank you for your kind comments. Binh Nguyen

I live 7 minutes from a salt water marsh in Southern Maine and this past summer I was greeted at sunrise with 2 herons and about 15 egrets and a dozen canadian geese. I hope to have a suitable camera to shoot them by next spring and this looks like a great body for value.
