I got to shoot part of a 30 team JUCO Women's Basketball Showcase Saturday - 9 games total. Well, they were actually scrimmages lasting about an hour each. There were numerous coaches and scouts in attendance scouting the players.
I had two AB 1600's mounted on one end of the court and I worked the baseline up to the team seats. The lights weren't mounted so I had even lighting so I had to stick to an area along the baseline.
NOTE: This was my first time to shoot with strobes and I fell in love with them. They aren't mine so now I have Alien Bee fever!
ISO 320-400, f/3.2 - f/4, 1/250 sec shutter speed, Canon 70-200 f/2.8L IS, 1D MK III, strobes on full power triggered by Skyports. No misfires in almost 900 clicks.
Here's a few pics from the games.
