Another shot of the Ram from a couple of days ago. There were female sheep in front of him and all I got were their backs and this part of him due to the 300mm and how close they were. I did a crop to take out the backs of the females. Wonderful canyon background to shoot against.

Great shot! Nice and sharp! Which 300mm were you using?

Thanks Stan...I didn't get a lot of shots of the big boy. The girls were on this large flat rock and he came up from below the rim, checked them all out and in 5 minutes was back below the rim. The next day he was in full view laying down in the shade...:D

Awesome image, Steve! I just love that background.

What's special to me about this image is that it's a Desert Bighorn. I've never had the opportunity to photograph Desert sheep - just the Rocky Mountain Bighorns and the California Bighorns. Someday I'll be able to make a long trip to the south and "shoot" your desert wildlife.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".
