Who has returned their 7D ?

I have seen one or two threads where the owner was unhappy with the camera for focus & overall quality and returned it for a refund and I was wondering just how many here have done the same.

Have you bought, used & returned your 7D?
Have you used someone else's and decided not to buy ?

DO you have any focus or overall image quality issues?

I am quite satisfied with mine, for the record.

Michael W.

Maybe they just figured for the price, it wasn't THAT much better than their...50D or MkIIn? If I had one of those, I'd really be in debate on if it was worth it. Aside from that I think it'd be a nice upgrade.

I've only had a few days and no real shoots yet, but I'm pretty satisfied. It does seem to be a significant step forward over the 50D. Still learning the ropes though.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

I've had mine for maybe 2 weeks now, and I'm happy with mine.
Not dismissing those who had issues. I'm sure they have, which is unfortunate.

I have had mine for almost 3 weeks and it is going nowhere. It is a nice upgrade over my 50D and it will be a camera I have for a long time.

Add me to the very happy owner list.

The feel, build, AF, resolution, cleaner high ISO, and all other features make this a phenomenal upgrade from my 40D. (just one man's opinion)

I'm shooting 1600 & 3200 regularly indoors now (for fun) where as when I had the 40D, I always tried to keep it under 800. The AWB is much more accurate than the 40D.

Now I'm just waiting for ACR to provide full RAW support.

Unless there's some catastrophic failure to this camera, I don't foresee myself ever giving it up.

My 7D has been good so far.
The learning process is the task!
Wish I could stop buying extra accessories! Man!

TBH - I'm keeping mine until the New Pro Body is released and then I'll sell it. My 7D has already paid for itself ;).

Any established POTNers want to buy some larger memory cards to take advantage of the Sandisk rebates.

3x 32GB's Extreme III = about $600 for NY'ers @ B&H
less $200 visa prepaid card
means each card is about $130

I'm in for 1 or 2 - anyone else, PM me.

I love my 7D. No plans to get rid of it.

I wish I could keep my 40D but I will have to sell it.
