Most will probably find the flare from the strobe too distracting, but without it the picture seemed kinda empty and boring to me.

what kind of strobe did you use if you don't mind me asking ?


Canon 60D w/ EF-S 18-200mm Kit Lens | Canon 50mm f1.8| Canon EF-S 10-22mm | And a hand full of Filters :D

Skyline, i don't mind the flare, what I don't like is that you really have no idea of what's going on here in this image. I know what the rider is doing is difficult, but only because I ride! I don't like how the riders face is covered by the rotor and hub! But I do like the "overall" shot.

lol...very true! except for changing positions. Was that possible without loosing "the shot"?

edit: now I am on my notebook I can see the bottom right hand corner of the shot. Don't know why I missed that! But I can see the lip of the jump now.

hehe, not in this particular shot. i mean, once he is airborne i only have about 1-2 seconds to take the shot. ;)

this is the only one where his head is blocked, though. and that's only because this is the only time he went completely sideways.
