As part of Surf Lifesaving Event in Australia, beach Sprint is an event.

This images were taken with my 50D and 400 2.8, as always C&C is welcome. One thing I am dissapointed about is the lack of DOF. As I ran up the beach to get these images after covering some surf event I forgot to change the settings (rookie error, I know, but the gun fired just as I got there.) I should have lowered my ISO and increased my apeture to seperate the background more.

Anyway let me know what you think.

1. ISO 400, F8, 1/1600

Thanks for the comments guys!

Hi Rob, Surf Lifesaving Events were held at Manly Beach last weekend. there all finished now. My mobile has been ringing all day today from news papers wanting shots. Beach volley ball at Maroubra beach this weekend coming but I think I may give that one a miss. There is a surfboat carnival on at Cronulla.

Funny thing, The field just around the corner from work is hosting the Softball prelim rounds. I'll head over there tomorrow for a few shots.

Mate if you want the schedule of events let me know and I'll send the schedule to you. World Masters Games finish on Sunday.
