A talented young surfer girl rides a wave at Sunset Beach on Oahu's North Shore.

I was lucky enough to spend a week in Hawaii recently and really enjoyed photographing the surfers on the North Shore.

This is my first try at a sports montage, I am generally happy with the result, feedback appreciated...

There is serveral shots shopped into one. The background is different from left to right.

Last one looks like her foot is off the board.

Cool,
I would edit it and leave out the last shot of her bailing. Unless of course she pulled off a crazy 1 foot gaffer.

Thanks for the nice response. I basically merged 2 full images (surfer 1&5) and cut out the rest and pasted them in, then did a ton of work blending them in with layer masks.

2alpha: yes thanks for pointing out the background is not uniform, I have fixed it and it looks much better now. I hope to post the improved image to my blog this week, then I can link it here..

2alpha & mikeassk: yes she is departing the board in the last shot and my next shot has her falling into the water but not very dramatically (little splash) so I kept it out. I don't feel that it really detracts since we were having fun not competing or anything, and the last image has quite a dramatic tail of spray that I would lose if it were not included. I could photoshop her foot back on the board but I am not really compelled to do that....
