I was given a Sunpak 4000af for free and later found out it does not work with the digital eos cameras. I have a Rebel Xti. I don't want this flash to go unused considering it was free and their has to be a use for it.

I want to set the flash up as a remote flash and order some wireless receivers for my camera. Now the 4000af is TTL and the Xti is eTTL. I am wondering what problems might I run into or will this set up even be able to work in the first place. I would really love to do this as cheaply as possible seeing as I am fresh out of college do not have much expendable income.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you all
