Here are two from over the weekend, I know they aren't the best shots, but the birds got nervous as soon as they saw me, and I was trying not to disturb them. Any idea what these two guys are?

I'm no expert, but maybe a Red Tailed Hawk?


Rocking the R6 and (mostly) the 24-105 f4 L, 50mm f1.8 STM, and EF 135mm f2 L along with a few others.

Thanks everyone, I knew you guys would know what I had found. They were sitting about a quarter mile apart in eastern Colorado.

Down here in South Texas we call em "Chicken Hawks" and they are plentiful year-round. Normally see them sitting on poles hunting for rodents and relatively easy to sneek up to for a good pic providing you follow ground cover.
