:(

My little 35mm 2.0 no longer autofocuses, nothing happens. I can switch to manual focus and focus but nothing in auto..... It apparently happened sitting quietly on the shelve.

Ideas?

I have tried it on several camera bodies and no luck...

How long have you had it? If still under warranty, I'd call. I'd call anyway.

Maybe a sign to upgrade to a 35L?

Seriously, maybe the switch died on it? Bummer.

My friend's 50mm f/1.8 Mark I, which has the same AF motor as 35mm f/2 died last year.
Canon quoted $120 for repair.
