Going to purchase a Benro Travel Angel kit...do I upgrade the ballhead (Benro B-00)?

I'm looking into buying a Benro travel angel kit--BENRO TRAB069--mainly for the portability factor for vacations, etc. and I want to make sure that my equipment will stay secure and avoid creeping. My heaviest setup right now is XSi + battery grip + 70/200 f/4L + tripod mount. I've heard lots of negative reviews on here about the B-00 ballheads, so I'd like some opinions on what ballhead I *should* upgrade to, or if I really need to upgrade in the first place.

This is my first foray into the tripod world. Only have experience with cheap-o tripods in the past.

Thanks.

The Markins Q3 Traveler. It's made for tripods where the legs rotate 180 degrees, because the panning base is flush with the housing, and the lens will fold closely to it. It will support 60lbs despite its small size. It's one of the best small heads out there, if not the best.
