I was just about to type that it looks like the end of the world and then I noticed what you'd called the shot Nice.

The glass is not as good of quality. The tint is usually horrible. It is usually somewhere in the 10stop range. It takes a bit to get the colors correct. You have to fix it to your camera with a rubber band (or some other method)...

It is $2-$3 total...

I used Blu-Tack to stick mine to a square filter adaptor in 77mm All in about £6 I think. I no longer use it as I managed to pick up a BW ND110 for £45 boxed as new but I'm not knocking it as it does work, you just have to work a bit harder in PP. If that BW hadn't come up at the price it did I'd still be shooting welding glass.

I have say i gave up on this. I can get the green out of the exposure but i loose almost all color in the shot. i will just save up and buy a filter kit.

WB dropper in LR & then maximum magenta tint to remove the green tint from the RAW & then maybe a tweak in PS used to do me good enough

Nothing fancy, just my first attempt; I wanted to try it today because it is soooooo windy outside.
I will probably try this again later (and I'll choose a much more interesting composition... most likely with people )

This actually looks pretty neat. I may try this one as well. I have LOTS of trees in my back yard.

I agree, looks cool with just the movement in the single tree with everything else static
