canonloader Cream of the Crop More info | May 15, 2010 05:53 | #371 Here is my first attempt through the #10 glass I bought the other day. Not sure what happened. I prefocussed, then shut off AF on the lens. The glass was held on to the petal style hood of the Bigma, mounted backwards, and held in place with rubber bands. This worked very well, and was tight against the front of the lens. I shot in Manual Mode for 30", on a tripod and using the remote cord, but not MLU. So I'm not sure why the right side is in focus and the left side is blurred, except for one small part where the shingles on the roof go off the frame. I did clean the glass with filter cleaner and a microfiber cloth.

Yeah, you could say it makes a bit of flare ![]()
I hope my remote and Cokin adapter ring arrive soon.. Looks good! Nice PP too. Flare appears to be the enemy on these pieces of glass, I've taken to putting my hood over the glass during the exposures. Anke

Hmm, that's an odd one? Does it do it to each image in exactly the same way? Anke
